Meet The Lesson Horses

You Stole My Heart, "Candy"

Candy has stolen the hearts of many little girls! The perfect beginner pony, this 13.2 hh Chincoteague swam over from the island 20 years ago! Since then, she has shown in all 3 rings, hunter paced, and evented! Currently serving the beginners, this mare still has tons of spunk.

Out with a Bang, "Murphy"

Murphy is a 12 yr old, 14 hh bay connemara pony that steals the hearts of everyone he meets. Murphy is a huge part of our lesson program from beginners to advanced jumping riders

Sal Skipper Oil, "Chance"

Chance is a 15.1 hh chestnut quarter horse gelding. With the kindest personality, Chance is as reliable as they come whether at home or at a show.

Go Diego Go, "Diego"

Diego is a 14.1 hh POA gelding who specializes in teaching beginners. Known for his extremely comfy gaits, Diego is a pro for riders who are just starting out or learning to jump.

Stuart Little, "Stuart"

Stuart is a 12.3 hh grey welsh pony gelding. An excellent pony for riders who are just starting out, Stuart absolutely loves to jump around with flying changes.

Record Year, "Chief"

Chief is a 15.1 hh paint gelding. Chief is an all-around kind of guy who can do all levels from leadline to advanced jumping lessons. He also loves to go out cross country!

Shingo

Shingo is a 14.1 hh chestnut German Riding pony gelding. A horse show professional, Shingo is ready to teach any child the ropes.

Captain

Captain is a 17.2 hh black percheron cross gelding. The definition of a gentle giant, Captain is extremely well loved by everyone who rides him.

McDreamy, "Malcolm"

Malcolm is a 16.1 hh chestnut warmblood gelding. A new addition to our string, Malcolm is fabulous to jump around a 2'6" course with a lead change or teach a walk-trot lesson.

Little Secret, "Meatball"

Meatball is a bay 15.3 hh dutch warmblood gelding. For our more advanced riders, Meatball is as fancy as they come and a king in the hunter ring.

Pepite de Chocolat, "Pepito"

Pepito is a grey 12.3 hand welsh pony. He is the best pony for riders just starting out and a blast to take around a course of fences.

Pros Commander, "Commander"

Commander is a 15.3 hh chestnut quarter horse gelding. Commander can do it all: from walk-trot to jumping around courses, he is extremely versatile and well-loved by our program.

Congratulations to Melissa Schors on her purchase of Commander! We are so excited that we'll still be able to have this horse as part of our program.

One Cute Bay, "Cowgirl"

Cowgirl is an adorable 13.2 hh bay pony mare. This pony loves her job and can be used for a first-time rider or a more advanced rider. Another new addition to our program, we can't wait to see what this pony can do!

Bubbles is a spunky 13.2 hh appaloosa mare. Fancy as they come, Bubbles will lead around the first time rider, win the short stirrup, and cruise through a 2'6 course in the same show!

Bubbles is currently full leased off-farm - Congratulations!

Cupid Shuffle, "Cupid"

Cupid is a 16 hh black percheron cross. With his lovable personality and extremely comfortable gaits, Cupid is a barn favorite for beginner and advanced riders alike.

Mr. Misunderstood, "Whomper"

Whomper is a 16.2 hh Clydesdale x Quarter Horse gelding. A new member of our program, he has a lovable personality and is quickly adapting to his new job.
